I think the tune that John did could be a final tune. I did a 1.26 on Maple and then a 1:50 on Grandprix.....So Im happy with those numbers Also im sure you guys could get even faster times than I can.

You COULD DO IT!!!! Just follow a Top 100 car around for 10 laps. I bet you could creep into the 26s.

GT do you have a copy of Jeds NSX-R ? Honestly I drove 3 laps in that car and Hot a 26.9 on my 3rd lap. Its like a Maple valley GOD!

Its even fast than our GSX on maple but it cant turn in and dive into a corner like our car can.

Well my only problem is that I suck at Maple Valley. Either that or the LB has a steep curve on it like Tsucuba has.

There was a 3 coolor car pack and I grabbed a red one if those NSX. I'm sure it was by JED. I have my PB in this as well but 1.27 only I Like, but cant drie that track.

+ 1 on that GT. I cannot drive that track fast no matter what.

I bet its the first corner thats killing your time.... You have to drive in really hard on the left side and then shove your car into the corner. I saw john do it one day when we were hotlapping a Supra and then I chopped a second off my time....

I think i am losing time all over the place. I just cant seem to get the track down for some reason with any car. I think my time is 27.6XX

I think the big reason will be that you are breaking too much. The first corner you wanna take at 120mph+

Then the last about 3 small corners right after the uphill right and before the last corner you need to take with the pedal to the metal.

Its a momentum track now that you brought that term in here! You basically wanna conserve as much speed as posible through the corners.

PS. Bret, I wanna release that supra so bad! Awesome awesome RWD... Talked to Viperlite the otherdat and he said he will try and finish it finally lol

REALLY??? LOl I havent heard from him about that in ages. But yah I still burn around in my supra on maple every once and a while. We tuned that thing in one night and man was it ever good.

But yah agreed!

If you guys want, can I release the GSX tonight? I dont mind making a thread. Or is MNK making a poster?

I guess he is...

I already build a few but will go to bed now. If we gut the poster lets make a short clean thread announcing the release tomorrow. This will be more effective and lets us not look like we released the car by coincedence...

Well he has the car and is supposed to be working on it. Thats as much as I know and I dont want to be a pain in the ass with him. So maybe if one of you would like to ask him about it then it would be fine.

The only times I have are

Maple - 1:26.9
Grand Prix- 1:50.8

And those were set by me So if you guys could run the car a little, that would be GREAT !

Or, another idea, you make that WIP threat as usual here and let ME t it in the forum.
1. I think I could use to have more knowledge/credibility (however you call that) in the TM
2. When you reward yourself on everything you've done for the car (tune, fletchs paint, tweaking the tune...) and I post it in my words (as I would have said it), it sounds much better. Commentadion from another person always is better

No worries mate, This car was a team effort. Im not going to make it personal. Kind of like how I did the 350z thread but with ALLOT less writing and my own BS jokes.... lol!

So will we release the GSX by itself or will we wait a day or two and sell it with the VW. Or are we looking to start doing single car releases? Just curious.

I think were going to release this puppy on his own. Then possibly release the VW on the weekend

THE THREAD!!!

Hello and welcome to yet another release from 787 Tuning.

This new GSX has been developed and tuned to perfection in house and has been tearing it up on a variety of tracks. The goal with this car was to tune a car that was capable of performing on a number of tracks and take wins in numerous lobbies online. Also while in the tuning process we found that our GSX is extremely stable and has a slightly higher top speed than most grip cars. That will give you an edge on tracks like Maple Valley or even down the straight at Mugello. But in the process of testing, times like these were run.....

Maple Valley- 1:26.86 (The Man ie 1)
Silverstone Grand prix- 1:50.78 (The Man ie 1), 1:49.912 (Bickel) PB


(All of those times were set in a lobby of 5 laps per race)



Paint Scheme- When I went to Fletch almost a month ago to paint this GSX, I had found this amazing helmet painted by Troy Lee Designs that I completely fell in love with. But of course not being a Motocross racer or having a spare 400$ he painted this incredibly GSX taking design cues from the helmet.



Price- 500k

Sales Start - Thursday November 13

Maybe point out a bit more that this is stable as hell and more (as you already wrote) for great performance in lobbies than a pure hotlapper. consistend, predictable ... Haute culture for the track
