| ___________________________________________________________________________ John Mclane's Laguna Seca Front-Engine Front-Wheel Drive Challenge___________________________________________________________________________ Introduction: This is the latest challenge from 787 Tuning. It is set for Laguna Seca and is limited to the A-class. We will be accepting entries from tuning garages and a limited number of privateers, up to 20 cars. There will be cash and prize cars to the winners. ___________________________________________________________________________ Rules: 1. Only FF cars allowed. 2. Garages cannot use previously released cars. Only new tunes. 3. No DLC cars are allowed to make gifting cars easier. 4. One entry per person or per garage. 5. Have fun while you help me have fun with forza again! ___________________________________________________________________________ Build the best possible FF A850 car for the Laguna Seca track and watch how it does in the hands of another driver! A number of 787 members will drive a max of 5-6 laps with each candidate and record the best lap time. The car with the fastest averaged laptime is the winner! Try and make a FF car competitive in A class and join us in our FF only 787 room after the contest is done! ___________________________________________________________________________ DUE DATE: SEPTEMBER 12th 2008! ___________________________________________________________________________ Prizes: If posible what I would like is, instead of paying an entry fee, contestants should gift what they consider is a valuable car. The winners then get to pic one after another a car until all are gone. (Please feel free to recomend some cool prizes I can give out or other creative ideas) 1st Place 30mil 2nd Place15mil 3rd Place 5mil

| John do you want to add me as a driver to help you out on the driving thing. I know you want to drive and get back into Forza but we could both do a set number of laps and then we could take your fastest lap and my fastest lap and average them out. That way it is alittle more like the car and not just what one driver can do. Tell me what you think about this and I am willing to help if you would like. Its up to you. Hope this gets you back. I miss racing my friend. | |

| I'm not sure, but money is still a big basement of this game I think. But don't let get it in ridiculous areas again - 100 Mio are maybe too much We still don't have new LEs to give away, so I guess we must think of our vintage ones -> Audi TT 2007, Toyota Altezza (maybe a bit too standard painted for an appreciated LE), Godzilla LE... Don't know, the opportunities are counted. | |

| Well John I could use some practice on the track and I really like the idea of some FWD. I have one of my own and would like to see some of there set up. Not to copy but to see how they get them to go good. Mine is good but not great. I have this thing I made up that we can use on the token cars or to have them put on the their cars. I dont know how you want to use it but here is the photo to see what I mean. Also I was thinking for the Grand Prize I could give out my Fairlady Z replica that I have never sold or anything. It is a perfect replica and it was the 2nd one I ever did. We can throw our setup on it but I am worried about the bodykit being different so it might need some work I am not sure. I will see. Here is a photo of what I am talking about and I don't know if that is an opition. But I am here to help. Love this idea. PS John I sent oyu over a logo car of the Challenge things I made in case you want to use them. Thanks. | |

| Though I love GOolf MKII in real life, I like the second design better, too. The kind of sniper thing looks good. Only the height of the font is a bit too small in my opinon. | |

| LOL, it was just the thing that came into my mind But this looks good too, and you do not have to cut the whole outlines of the car to hide the backround (I hope you understand what I'm trying to explain with outlines and backround etc. ) | |

| Well I like the VW the best out of the two but I am a huge fan of the Honda Civic Vti Hatchback but I do like the old school VW. I wish that mine even looked half as good LOL. If you need any help with this contest I will try and try to help but my time is limited for this week sorry. | |

| Wow GT that looks pretty sweet looking. I like the small decals and no huge designs because it looks kind of like a sleeper. Well I have not been trying too hard but I made up a Civic Vti Hatch and I think if I remember right I have it at about where you are at in the 26's. It is a good little car I think I just am not good at that track. But I will play around with it some more. Looks good from here GT.
Edit guys. I have my hatchback sitting at 1:25.803 so far. Now it need some paint work though so it looks nice going around the track. | |

| Thanks Drew. I managed to break into 1.25's I did a 1:25.885. That was pretty fast when driving it. The problem is, this car has maybe too much hp, but I was stil able to fit all the grip-important parts, too. And now Drew, please make a guess when I set that time? What daytime I mean WOW, nearly posting in the same second So mine was a bit slower, but I haven't had enough time. But if I get faster, we need some color for my VW, too | |

| Wow GT congrats on the amazing time set in the morning session LOL. That is good time for this car. I never really played around with that car too much except with the AWD version. But it seems to be holding its own. If I remember right it has a V-6 and that is a major help. It adds alittle weight but for Laguna with the extra HP and espeically the Torque is huge bonus on this track with the hills. That is the one thing with my Civic that sucks. It is a RPM machine and it doesn't like to bog down in the corners. It is nice and light but it is hard to come out the corners on some of them because it only likes to be above like 5,000 RPM's. But lets see if I can be the master GT and his morning session. | |
