So lets think of something very special and unquie for this car and like John says no rushing it we have other cars we can sell first. Lets make this one count. And Big Probs goes to our man MNKpro for more amazing work!!!!

| Love that poster!
The only thing I kno for sure is that I want to sell just 50 of these, all individually numbered in the license plate and all at random times for no buyouts! Sure some people will hate that its not an unlimited release and that all auctions are no buyouts....But all publicity is good publicity right??/

| It looks very nice! The split between the real and the Forza car is a nice idea. Or is this only an illusion? I like it and I'm ready to go. So we have already 2 releases for 2 weekends. A good start to old habits, right? | |

| Well GT I think it is a split between real and FM. I am not sure though. Pretty good hehe. I think this project we are sitting on for awhile so we can come up with a killer idea to sell big time. We have tons of other cars we can release fast though. | |

| Check out this idea for selling the STis!
only 50.
2 sold each day.
One is put randomly in AH for 500k buyout.
One is sold privately through fm.net.
How will it be sold? : OPEN AUCTION
You can start bidding as low as 5,000k.
Must post bids openly in the sales thread.
Bidding ends at 9.00pm ET.
What you think?? | |

| I like the idea of 1 this way and 1 that way. But I do not really understand what you mean when you say open auctions together with 500k buyout? And the next thing: 1 put up randomly for 500k, the second put up privatly (in privat chat??) without buyout? Right now this does not make sense for me, but it could of course be that the barrier it self is one more time our beloved language Second and more understandable thing is: 2 Auctions a day with 50 cars mean 3.5 weeks attention by the customers. I guess it will be hard to get that for such a long time. I'm affraid that Interest will slow down. But okay not only "complain" or better said critizise, but coming up with a alternative idea is not that easy because selling these for one week with 10 a day is too much, I know. What do you mean with Must post bids openly in the sales thread.? Us or who? And finally last thing. Beginning with 5k buyout is a nice thing for the guys who don't have that much money, but it wil bore people. I recommend to start bidding on a bigger price. At least 500k. The cars would in no case be sold under 500k, so why bore the customer with whole day bidding to reach the 500k mark etc. What about the following: As I really see 25 days are way to much "demand" for this fast moving marked. You know at the one day the forum is up for this, the next day for that. Shortcut this idea! 5 a day. 3 with buyout (if I understood right) and 2 without buyout. My thoughts to be discussed | |

| I like the idea cause 4 weeks is too long. So a short period is much better but lets wait to see what John thinks. | |

| The First week a car it out is pretty much the attention span of MOST customers... | |

| What I mean with the open auctions issssssssss
Not like an open auction in the AH.
FM.net users post their bid on our thread!
If the winning bid at 9.pm is 10million, then we get the persons's GT, Contact him, then sell it to him for 10 million.
That way also we are assured that at least 25cars will go to people who really want them.
I thought it was a different and creative approach. I think some people will like it!
As for the 25 days thing... So what! What do you think the last one will go for?? lol

| Okay, I understand I know some use silent Auctions with the bids send in via pm. Okay, this is another thing. What I think is hard to imagine is how the thread could be handled. ca. 25 days with different breaks to start with the new car of day 2 and 3 and so on. But okay, if you think you can do this I won't stop you The last thing... hm, I do not really need to make a suggestion, right? lol | |

The last thing... hm, I do not really need to make a suggestion, right? lol You are very right. Most likely the thread will go out of control....We'll deal with it! lol Sooooooooooo do we have some ready? I say each one of us does like 10. We are 5 right?

| Right, 5. I did some that Bret bought from me. I don't know if he gifted them to you, but I bet. But since your garage is full... Go John, Garage Sale! I could do that, too! 340 cars of which I don't need 250 or whatever LOL. I think I did 3 that I sold to Bret and another 4 or 5 ready. All from 50 downstairs. So 50, 49 and 48 might be anywhere around here. 47, 46, 45, 44 and so are in my garage. We have to make a schedule how to sell them. 1st day person 1 with the cars 2nd day person 2 with his cars 3rd day person 3... . . . 6th day person 1 again I would say we spread the numbers of the cars so you get several # between 1 - 50, Bret, Ghandi Drew and me, too. Otherwise one of us . in this case me - has all the high # and the interest is less big than in the beginning Also you might have the 3 last # (or at least on the way to you), so you could start and finish the whole thing as it is your baby I'm still for a shorter period for this | |

| You make good points! We will switch it up.
As for the length of the sale... Lets call it an experiment. Lets see how people's attention spans work.
I have not received any STis yet but remember I changed the tune a bit so everyone needs to update the tune by sending me one and I will return it.

| Well right now I am kind of lost right now with all this. Maybe once we get this figured out alittle better I can figure it out. I think that we should make it as simple as possible because we all know not everybody has the smarts that we have hehe. Plus alot of people dont read everything we write LOL. | |

| How ever this will come down at the end, I am nearly finished building some. I have # 40 - 48 in my Garage soon. So we have to figure out who else built some. Because of the risk to have doubled numbers. Then we have to figure out who sells which numbers... Is there a function for this kind of math in Microsoft excel??? LOL | |
