I just got a 1:27.178 on Mapple Valley with 1 mistake which kept me out of the 26's. SO you can add that too if you want or wait alittle bit to see if I can beat it and get in the 26's.

I think we already have a hit on our hands

Sounds like my endeavor to get into the 19s on Road Atlanta...frick that was annoying!

It is a bitch for sure. I give up for tonight. I have a new idea here. I wanted to clean up Johns GSX for a weekend warrior racer but he said it is trash. So I am thinking of painting up something similar like with carbon doors and other go fast bits. I think it would be cool to have it kind of look low budget look like small or no decals just go fast performance. What do you think. Oh and what base color you want it to be.

Hmmm I think we need a contest of some sort to spark some interest into the GSX thread... Something creative and original ... how about... ANy ideas? lol

Well I will start to think but I am running out of new ideas. There is basically only 2 contests. Photos or Hotlapping. So I will pack it in my brain and try to think of something fresh.

How about we offer you painted GSX but tuned SUPER HARDCORE! So like no ABS and everything is made to look like its a badass weekend warrior LE. If you want, send the paint you did over to me and I'll tweak it slightly. Also I can tune the brakes .

John already told me that his paint is trash so I am trying to work up a new one along the same line. Please explain your idea better though. Do you mean the guys buy the SE and then if they want they send it over for the LE paint and tune for free?

No like we would make a Limited Edition of the GSX. But the theme around it would be a super Hardcore Weekend racer. So along with a bare bones paint scheme and a tune that accounted to NO ABS.... And maybe stiffened up a little? Just something along to lines of race ready and purpose built to race....

Yes I love that idea. That is the paint I am working on like a low budget racer look that is like hardcore looking. No fancy tribals or stuff like that. ANd about the the tune I would like the idea with no ABS and stiffen up the susension. Maybe even change the hearbox to a 6 speed short ration one that would be cooler than chit.

Yah and if we sold 5 of those.... People would go nuts!

I got all the carbon work done on it. I have it alittle dark red with carbon hood, doors, and rear diffuser. And now I am working on putting a few logos on it and then it might be finished for photos.

cool, cause they start to ask for an LE Sales dn't go well anyways.

Well I am sad about the sales too. I mean I sell alot of the cars but there is only 4 pages on the fourms come on. So I am working on the LE so maybe if we have a killer idea how to sell them it will boost things up.

Yep Lets just get it done quick Cause interest and the 787 GSX is still fesh in peoples minds/garages.
