| Ok guys, bear with me on this one, and I apologise if I go off into a rant, but here goes. I know you guys have a lot of cars ready for release and it can get quite confusing, but I was remembering the success of the Boss 429, and realised you never done an LE version. I thought I'd have a play around in the paint booth and was pretty excited about the outcome. Now's where I may go off in a small rant. But I need to try and explain my thought proccesses while I was doing this. Now I notice lately that all garages releases are focusing more and more on sponsor details and such, and wondered what it would be like to try and strip that esscense of the design away, and to focus my efforts into a good ol fashioned muscle car paint. During this proccess, I also thought about how many designs are made to grab your attention straight away with big bold images, but little are made where you have to look closer to realise the depth of the design. The Devil's in the details as they say. So this was the outcome, ive taken close up pics of the subtle images so you guys dont have to squint your eyes, lol. Let me know your thoughts, but I was thinking how cool would it be to do a super rare (maybe only 10) LE release of the famous 787 Boss 429? Close ups | |

| Holy shit. Those images are fing spectacular wow... I totally understand what you are saying. This is how I think your idea would work the best: If you yourself post the thread explaining how this is pretty much a new aproach to liveries and as different from the norm as it gets, devil's in the details etc etc. Then maybe if you don't want 999billion credits we can sell one or two for you! Of course it would be 787 I am just saying I think people will admire the concept more if you yourself introduce it to them. PS: I think it would look better without the 787 logo on the side. One 787 logo on the back should be good. PPS: Also for release, if you prefer, I can make the thread etc. but then quote you talking abut your newest masterpiece. PPPS: NIIIICE I just though of how to introduce it to the TM... [787] Boss 429 LE: The Devil is in the Details | |

| Fletch this paint is simply amazing. I do agree with John about the 787 logos. I think that one on the back where the plate should go is good enough. The other ones take away from the amazing design and also it should look cleaner without them. I think that if we would do a LE release we should do something between 5-10 cars. That seems like a good number. And Fletch if you want to send one over to me I can make one and send it to MNKpro and get him to take some amazing photos of your car and then we can work up a release style thread. Great idea Fletch.
You know what I think would be a cool idea is to make an LE of THE UNDERDOG CAMARO SS. I know it is not maybe my favorite looking car but it is still an amazing car and it is the one that started 787 Tuning (I think). Maybe Fletch you could come up with an idea for that if everybody at 787 likes the idea. What do you think guys?
@Fletch and Bret: Did you see the photos over on the GSX thread. Pretty sweet photos no???

| I agree, that paint with those VERY hard to see faces is awesome. I always wonder how is possible with circles, squares and lines!? I think it suits great to the Boss. It could look great on the Camaro as well. For my part, I've sold 70 Camaros till today, but only 46 Boss. 5-10 (or 6-12 > I always think of everybody in 787 could participate in this ) is a word. No times needed. "A legend is back - look what happened to her..." So everybody will remember. Top notch fletch!! | |

| Thanks for the compliments guys.
John; I can try to put it on the Camaro, but I kinda like the idea of the Boss, as it was my first project with you guys, and I have fond memories of how it began. Also, I'm pretty useless with starting threads in the TM, just get all confused and lose what I'm trying to say. So yeah, if you wouldnt mind heading that one for me that would be great. You also have a way of wording stuff better than what I could. I'll whip the 787 logo's off the sides then send it your way if we are all happy with the idea?

| I thought I'd have a little play around with trying to create a poster, I just used the old images for now as I havnt yet been on to change the 787 logo's from the side of the car. And Ive got to say, I'm enjoying the challenge. Where the black space is I want to put the car details, like speed, handling etc. Plus sales details etc. Tell me what you think | |

| The idea is not bad. I think the pics could b bigger. Because you want to make the details visible, don't you? Bigger pics and the first pic looks like it's streched or so. | |

| Yeah I'm gonna make the whole poster bigger GT11. But I'm just kinda working it all out right now. I didnt think the top image was too stretched, but then again my eyes are crap! lol | |

| Yah totally! I'd love to make this happen! ( I also need to improve my credit situation lol)
That paint scheme looks incredible, Im still looking at those faces wondering how the hell you did it lol!
The only things I would change on the car is a 787 logo of course, and NEW RIMS!
But yah if all of us could sell 1 and then fletch you could have the other 4-5 that would be wicked cool!

| Fletch I like the start of the poster but you know that I am really excited to see what MNK can do with the photos and maybe change the style of his poster for this LE to an evil style. If you want to keep playing with it please do you never know when you may hit on something. Please send one over and I will send a copy to MNK to see if he can mess around with a poster. | |

Yep! we just have to wait a couple days since we have 2 cars selling in the TM atm. That just gives us time to put down all our ideas to make this as awesometacular as it can be!

| So lets get a sales plan all set up here before hand.
10 cars sold? No buyout? Or Thread style auction? All cars numbered 1-10?

| Well I like the idea of about 10 if that is the final number. And I was reading that most people like the idea of the fourm post your bid style auction. And to be honest after I have been buying some LE;s I would really like that again. The bitch is you sit in the AH building up the bid and waiting for the 2 min timer to reset.
So in short I think we should do the auction on the forums to also keep it within the FM.net family and not in the scum family. Tell me what you think of that idea.
