I tried to pick a far enough off date, but its still soon enough that we will have time to Amp our stuff up.

What do you guys think?

Hmm maybe make it June 7th as that is a Saturday. I think it is much easier to make a thread and launch a car on the weekend. That way we have enough time to get things

ready and also on the weekend people play more so there will be more people buying. Just my thoughts.

Or even one week later.......

If we wanna do another video with the car, that might give us more time?

Yes ok make it June 14th because that will give us time to make this luanch Epic. We will not hold back on anything. I think that will give us enough time to do everything we want.

You know what sucks? (only in forzaland terms... lol)

I will be gone for the entire month of july!

So any date within june sounds good to me. Preferably late june.

thing is that I go away on about 6 weekends through out the summer to go to the auto races and then maybe this end of June begining of July I will be going away to see my

wifey over in Norway for about 1 week. Seems to me when summer comes the boys want to get out and play. hehehe. I think that middle June is a good date. Don't forget to change the save name too. Cannot make it that easy LOL.

Why do you fix a date? Just make it open to say soon. The forum users will ask "when" and get curious. If you say 06-14, than they know that they'll get something nice from 787 (btw I do read more and more often that 787 cars are of the mostly liked cars in several garages )
But when it's open I could imagine they are even more curious anget nervous about the release.
Just my opinion.

Yes Drew, you are probably right with, but I thought it would be better not to set ourself a deadline because if it's getting close to the fixed date and something (you'll never know) is still missing or only nearly finished we'll get in a hurry and (hopefully not!!!) make some stupid mistakes. Just to avoid that.
I think we should set an intern release date, but just for us to work determined and not to slow or without a hurry at least. If it should be epic as you all claim, we should use the time it needs to get epic.

Well GT I think you won me over to your side. What if we put Coming Summer 2008. That would give them an idea of when it is about to come out but not a set date so we have

some room to work with it. Yes I like that idea very much. Movies and video games do that alot saying summer 2008 or something like that. Tell me what you guys think of that.

Yes, for example something like that. And if the whole thing gets more and more shape we could readjust the nonfixed date to something like Coming June 2008 or Coming Week 24 or whatever. I thinks this artificial progression keeps the customers interestet a lot and probably a few WIP infos will help to keep some rush in the thread.
Of course as always just my thoughts. Open to anything else unless its something you have to use JY Jelly for LOL

one that might work. Maybe once Bret and John talk some it will get more and more in detail and I am sure we will get it figured out.

Hmmm me and GT were thinking about maybe making it Early summer instead of a set date that way it gives us some wiggle room. I think it is a good idea so we can make it Epic

and have nothing make it less than we really want. I have yet to hear John's opinion on this one or yours so we will see what you guys think too. I am open to ideas though.
